This poorly known crayfish is found in streams under rocks and in riffle habitats

Range
The Coosa crayfish is found in the Coosawattee and Coosa rivers in Georgia as well as in Tennessee and Alabama.

Conservation status
The Coosa crayfish is presently neither endangered nor threatened.
