Campus Wildlife Guide: Birds

Birds are the most common native wildlife you will see at UGA. You should easily be able to see the species presented here on or near the campus.
The best time to spot birds is in the early morning, when it is still quiet and cool. The species in this guide are visible without binoculars, but you will be able to see them better if you have a pair.

Try a short quiz to see how well you know the local birds.
