You may want to go back to the bee page to compare these pictures. Look closely! These insects look a lot like bees. Actually, though, they're flies, from the insect order Diptera, which means "two wings." Flies only have 2 wings, while bees (from the order Hymenoptera) have four wings. What's more, the Hover flies don't actually land on the flowers, but bees do.
